Updates from Workforce Readiness

On March 20, 2014, Transitions to College, GED, ABE, and ESOL students attended the Adult Literacy Awareness Day at the State House. This was a very inspiring event for them, as they got to see first-hand how educators and students can come together to ask for more funding for adult education. Students prepared for this by writing letters to their state representatives and delivering them at the State House. At the event, they heard many students, teachers, program leaders, and a state representative speak about the importance of continuing their education as an adult.

From all the Workforce Readiness department staff we would like to say THANK YOU  to  all the volunteers and tutors for their endless efforts and  their dedication to help  USES' students achieve their academic  success.
