Learn At Work Celebrates Success After First Year

Congratulations to our Learn at Work participants! This past week marked the end of our first year of Learn at Work, a program that provides English classes to employees at the South End Community Health Center (SECHC). Classes are designed to help non-native English speakers improve their  workplace communication skills so that

they can grow within the organization and improve the quality of services that SECHC provides.Some areas covered in class include medical terminology, customer service skills, telephone skills, and business writing such as email and medical reports. Several students obtained jobs or got a promotion within the first year of the program! Here's to another great year and even more success.
