USES: Celebrating 130 Years of Community

To honor its 130th anniversary year, United South End Settlements embarked on a storytelling project over multiple months to celebrate leaders and participants throughout its rich history until the present to tell the story of the organization: where it came from and where it’s going. Eight interviews were conducted to create four narrative pieces that weave together the personal USES experiences of those historic individuals and their present-day counterparts. Through these stories, USES aims to share even more of its legacy, achievements and hopes for the future as the organization looks to the next 130 years.
