USES’s NEW Playground

We were thrilled to unveil our new playground during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 10. This exciting project, made possible through the generous support of the Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC), the New England Patriots Foundation, Liberty Mutual Foundation, Holland & Knight, Josh and Patty Krumholz, Beth and Richard Sherr, and local community members, has transformed the space into a vibrant hub for learning and play.

The newly renovated playground includes three distinct areas: a dedicated space for younger children, a section geared towards older school-aged kids, and a brand-new basketball court. All areas are equipped with modern, safe play structures designed to nurture the imagination and physical development of children of all ages.

DEEC Commissioner Amy Kershaw and Josh Kraft, President of the New England Patriots Foundation, joined USES CEO Jerrell Cox and the organization's young beneficiaries for the ceremony. Each guest emphasized the importance of investing in children and providing them access to quality recreational opportunities.

“For years, this playground has been in dire need of an upgrade,” stated Jerrell Cox during his remarks. “Thanks to the incredible commitment of our partners, we’ve been able to completely revitalize this space. It’s now a beautiful outdoor classroom equipped with modern equipment and improved accessibility, fostering a place where children can learn, grow, and thrive.”

This new playground symbolizes USES’s ongoing dedication to empowering families and nurturing the well-being of children in the community.
