Senior Services Winter Session Class Schedule

Four story brick building with adjacent courtyard

We're excited to announce the Senior Services Winter Session class schedule (below) and the addition of two brand new classes.

Due to a generous grant from the Tufts Health Plan Foundation, we now offer Tai Chi II for those with Tai Chi experience who are ready for the next step. We've also added an advanced computer class at the request of our skilled participants who want to learn even more expertise.

USES’ Seniors Services program enables residents to live independently and comfortably in their own homes, to engage with the broader community, and to maintain their health, wellbeing and happiness.

"It's important for seniors to remain active for many reasons," says Clara Garcia, Director of Senior Services. "It takes them out of their comfort zone, lifts their self-esteem, and creates a sense of community with the other participants."

For many, our facility serves not only as a community resource but as a social hub; a place to make friends, to participate in structured and productive activities and to contribute skills and knowledge.

To register for a class, please call Heidy Viarruel at (617) 375-8114 or email her at hviarruel@uses.org. A $15 donation for the entire semester is requested, however, no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
