ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Alison earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology. She completed her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Alison also works as a speech-language pathologist at a rehabilitation hospital in Boston and serves as a course facilitator for an online master’s program in speech-language pathology.

Alison specializes in treatment for adults and pediatrics with cognitive symptoms due to mild traumatic brain injuries, post-concussive syndrome, executive function deficits, ADHD and long-term COVID-19. She is Love Your Brain (LYB yoga) certified.

Rachael earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Sociology.  She completed her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Emerson College.

Rachael has worked as a speech-language pathologist at a rehabilitation hospital in Boston for nearly 10 years.  She also serves as a course facilitator for an online master’s program in speech pathology.

Rachael specializes in treatment for adults with cognitive symptoms due to mild traumatic brain injuries, post-concussive syndrome, executive function deficits and mental health concerns. Her experience includes individual therapy, group education sessions, working with veterans and developing and leading several community groups.  She is Love Your Brain (LYB yoga) certified.
