USES’ Children’s Art Centre programming provides arts opportunities that foster community interaction, self-expression, and development of skills in the arts through hands-on arts education. Over the years, USES has brought fine arts and cultural enrichment to everyone in the community regardless of race, ethnic background, or ability to pay. The Children’s Art Centre works closely with the USES Early Childhood program to provide meaningful arts experiences to our infants, toddlers and preschoolers by engaging their bodies and minds in sensory rich projects that cultivate critical thinking and promote school readiness skills, early literacy and language acquisition. Arts in Early Learning classes taught alongside classroom teachers at the Blackstone Innovation School integrate classroom content to engage multiple types of learners.
School vacation will be here before you know it! Sign your child up to ensure they have access to quality arts exploration while they create meaning through art, build social connections, get messy and have fun!
