The Harriet Tubman House is home to the administrative offices, the development
department, the Volunteer Services offices, Gallery 566, and all adult programs:
Adult Basic Education, Technology
Education, and
Senior Services.

Orange Line:
Take the ORANGE LINE to MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE STATION. Go upstairs and walk south on Massachusetts Avenue (away from Symphony Hall) ½ block to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Columbus Avenue. The Harriet Tubman House is the 3-story brick building on the diagonal corner at 566 Columbus Avenue.
Green Line: Take an "E" Line train to SYMPHONY. When you go upstairs, you will then be on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Huntington Avenue. Walk south on Massachusetts Avenue (away from Symphony Hall) for two blocks to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Columbus Avenue. The Harriet Tubman House is the 3-story brick building on the diagonal corner at 566 Columbus Avenue.
Silver Line: The bus travels along Washington Street. Get off the bus at Massachusetts Avenue - walk north on Massachusetts Avenue for two blocks. The Harriet Tubman House is on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Columbus Avenue.
#1 Bus: The bus travels along Massachusetts Avenue. Get off the bus at Columbus Avenue. This will leave you right next to the Harriet Tubman House.
#43 Bus: The bus travels along Tremont Street. Get off the bus at Massachusetts Avenue - walk north on Massachusetts Avenue for one block. The Harriet Tubman House is on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Columbus Avenue.

MBTA Silver Line: To get to the South End House, take the SILVER LINE from Downtown Crossing or from Boylston Street station – upstairs on street level across from Loew's Cinemas – and go outbound toward Dudley. Get off at the WEST NEWTON STREET STATION. Walk one block
west on Washington Street (going in the same direction as the Silver Line), turn onto your first right (Rutland Street) and proceed 1 ½ blocks. South End House will be on the left hand side.
By Bus
Take the #43 Ruggles bus from Park Street up Tremont. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop closest to Rutland Street.
Alternately, take the #1 Dudley-bound
bus on Mass Ave. and get off at the Shawmut Ave. stop. Walk down Shawmut (toward downtown) until you come to Rutland Street. Take a left
and walk around 100 feet. The South End House will be on the left
side.
The Children's Art Centre

The Children's Art Centre provides art classes for youth ages 3-18.
