Home About Us Programs How to Help Our Friends Rentals Jobs PDF of our Spring 2008 brochure listing all classes offered through South End Center, the Children's Art Centre, Senior Services, and Technology Education. Programs for school-aged youth have been integral to the settlement house movement, and USES has offered an After-School Program at 48 Rutland Street (South End House) for over 30 years, providing continuous service and support for parents who work or attend school or training. The After-School Program offers structured, thematic children’s activities for four hours on school days, and 10 hours during school vacations. The majority of program participants are African-American, and many are Latino and African immigrant children.
Call (617) 375-8150 for more information or to register. Almost all After-School Program participants attend USES’ Summer Day Camp, a 10-hour, daily program that offers 52 children an opportunity to work on computer and arts projects, swim at the Blackstone Community Center, and enjoy numerous field trips. During the February and April school vacation weeks, USES offers a day-camp program that enables youth to integrate the arts and technology and participate in field trips and collaborative activities with other groups.
We honor two types of vouchers to cover the cost of tuition.
Call (617) 375-8150 for more information about vouchers and tuition assistance.
