Alumni Association
CHAA is comprised of several
generations of people who recognize the impact that Camp Hale has had
not only in their lives, but also in the lives of those who experience
Camp Hale. This group is truly multi-generational and includes former
campers, staff members, family, and friends of Camp Hale. To get a good
idea of the people involved in the Alumni Association, plan on attending
the next Alumni Weekend
festivities held every year in August. CHAA efforts to see Camp Hale continue for
another 100 years include activities like holding fundraiser's,
sponsoring campers, donating needed assets to Camp, and staying in touch
with the present day activities of Camp. Every year members of the
Alumni Association volunteer their time to camp related activities.
These activities include our successful Work Weekend, where CHAA members
converge on Camp for a weekend of prep work that includes preparing the
waterfront, opening up the cabins, and repairing any of Mother Nature's
winter wear and tear. Alumni members have also been known to visit camp
during the camping season, sharing their camp stories with the campers
and staff or joining a cabin group on a mountain climb. CHAA is about maintaining a bridge between the
past, the present, and the future. CHAA is about giving back so others
can experience the same memories that drive the alumni members back year
after year after year. CHAA is about Camp Hale.
