Light Refreshments Served Come make up the audience for USES’ third annual Urban Verbal Stew, a progressive reading of works by local writers. The theme for this year is “Light” (Light as opposed to heavy, electricity of all kinds, enlightenment, floating – think of the possibilities!) Hear poetry, prose and short non-fiction pieces read by the authors. Expect the unexpected!

Join the arborist from Arborway Tree Care to learn about urban trees, along with Trina Hofreiter and Robin Evans of the Urban Ecology Institute, for a presentation about their city trees inventory initiative and their planting projects.
