Introducing our New CEO, Maicharia Z. Weir Lytle

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Maicharia Z. Weir Lytle as the organization's next CEO. With over 15 years of experience in Boston's nonprofit sector, Maicharia spent the past five years serving as the first Executive Director of LIFT-Boston, where she revitalized the organization's vision and model of community engagement.

Bill Meserve, Chair of the USES Board and of its Search Committee, says they "concluded unanimously that Maicharia has the right combination of experience, energy, enthusiasm, passion and interpersonal skills to lead USES effectively as our new CEO." Learn more.

The Hurley School / USES Partnership

The Children’s Art Centre (CAC) began its partnership with the Hurley School in 2012 with a grant from the BPS Art Expansion Initiative. Due to the limited capacity of these grants, the CAC is currently providing its programming pro-bono during 2014 - 2015.

We need to raise $7,000 by September 2015 in order to provide over 130 students at the Hurley School with valuable art opportunities next school year.
