South End Walks

Walking Tour Hosted by David Craft

Foraging Walking Tour

Our walk leader is David Craft, author, gallery owner, cancer researcher and forager extraordinaire who will tell us about edible wild stuff growing right under our feet..  David lives almost exclusively on foraged food and he will give you ideas for turning these plants into delicious repasts.  To join on this walk, please email Alex Edwards at aedwards@uses.org.  Alex will give you the meeting point for the walk.

USES walks are free and proceed at a comfortable pace that is suitable for everyone, pooches included.  They usually last about 45 minutes to an hour and a quarter maximum.  After the walk there is an optional dinner.  Leave Fido at home if you plan to join us for that.  No more than 20 people are allowed to join us for the walk so sign up quickly.  And if you sign up and can’t make it, please be considerate and let Alex know as we keep a wait list.  In case of rain, the walk will be rescheduled and you will be notified on the day of the walk.
